Terms of purchase

1. GENERAL TERMS
Grooming and Show adheres to both consumer purchase laws and distance contract laws. To place an order, the customer must be of legal age or have parental consent. It is the responsibility of each customer to familiarize themselves with our terms of purchase - placing an order automatically implies acceptance of all conditions. No images from our website may be used without our permission.


2. PRICES AND PAYMENT

All products are listed with prices inclusive of VAT (25%). Payment can be made through two options: Klarna - Card or Invoice, and Swish - Advance payment via Swish.


3. DELIVERY
We use Early Bird, PostNord Varubrev, or PostNord MyPack Collect for shipping. For orders under 1000 SEK, shipping costs are 49 SEK with Early Bird and 69 SEK with Varubrev. If the customer chooses MyPack Collect, the shipping cost is 75 SEK. Orders exceeding 1000 SEK qualify for free shipping. The delivery time for in-stock items is 2-10 business days. Deviations may occur, and in such cases, we will contact the customer. Some products in our range are ordered upon request, and customers should be aware that delivery times may be longer. Packages are delivered to PostNord collection points. Notification occurs via email or SMS, so please ensure the correct mobile number and email address are provided. Valid identification is required when picking up the package.


4. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
According to the Distance Contracts Act, you, as a customer, have the right to return the item within 14 days of receiving it. The right of withdrawal does not apply to customized items such as riding boots, custom-designed browbands, handmade exhibition bridles, etc. Contact [email protected] if you wish to return an item. The customer is responsible for the return shipping and ensuring the item is properly packaged. The returned item must be in its original condition, in the original packaging, and unused. Any damages to the item or original packaging will be charged to the customer.


5. WARRANTY CLAIMS
Grooming and Show follows the Consumer Purchase Act for warranty claims. Thus, we undertake to replace defective or damaged products at no extra cost. Please do not accept packages with visible damage that may have affected the condition of the ordered item. In such cases, make a claim directly at the collection point and ask them to return the package to us, specifying the reason for the return on the package. If your item is damaged despite no visible damage to the package, email [email protected] and attach a photo of the item.


6. UNCLAIMED PACKAGES
Unclaimed packages will be invoiced to the customer.


7. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND GDPR INFORMATION
As of May 25, 2018, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) replaced the previous Personal Data Act (PUL) in Sweden. GDPR is a common law that imposes greater responsibility on merchants, organizations, and companies regarding the handling of customer and personal data. Grooming & Show is responsible for the personal data you provide to us as a customer and how we process it to administer your purchases and, if you have subscribed to our newsletter, for marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information such as name, address, mobile number, email address, or other customer information that may be considered personal data to a third party, except in the cases mentioned below.


WHAT DO WE DISCLOSE TO THIRD PARTIES AND WHY?
When you make a purchase in our online store, we use Klarna Bank AB as a payment solution. The information (personal identification number/organization number, name, address, email address, phone number/mobile number, and payment method) you fill in when completing the purchase is sent to Klarna Bank AB, and original information such as IP address is logged and sent to them. We disclose the first and last name, address, and phone number/mobile number or email address if there is no phone number/mobile number to PostNord so that they can deliver your order. We disclose the email address (if you have agreed to our newsletter) to our newsletter provider, Mailchimp, to send out general product information, occasional campaigns, or discount codes, some of which are targeted based on your previous purchases from us. Mailchimp does not sell or use your personal information in any way other than for sending out newsletters (which we write ourselves) from Grooming & Show.


WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE STORE AND WHY?
When you make a purchase in our online store, we store your name, address, email address, and phone number/mobile number. The above information is stored with us for 7 years according to current accounting law. Your postal code and country are used in our sales statistics for 60 days. Cases handled by [email protected] are stored for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted.


WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE REGARDING MY PERSONAL DATA?
You have the right to be deleted from systems where possible, such as the newsletter list, while some systems have limitations, such as accounting law. You have the right to receive an extract showing what personal data we have stored about you. You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. You have the right to find out where the information about your personal data came from if you did not register it yourself.


HOW DO I REGISTER/UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THE NEWSLETTER?
When you click "Complete Purchase," you will need to give your consent by actively checking the box "Register me for the mailing list." Your email address may be used as the recipient of newsletters from us, which may include discount codes or occasional campaigns. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time when you receive it.
